Swimming
I jump in, h eadfirst into the water. As I dive in my body is engulfed in cold water starting with my head all the way to my toes. Wishing I was in more open water, I open my eyes and swim along the floor of the pool. When my breath runs out, I push against the floor and arise for air in a large splash. I think I’m so passionate about swimming for many reasons, but one of the most important ones to me must be that I don’t need anyone else.
