One of the many holidays i celebrate with my family is April fools. In my opinion, April fools is the best holiday because you get to pull cruel tricks on the ones you love and get away with it. My family has always gone for each other's eyes this day, Literally! My mom put a rubber band on the handle of the other sink head, fortunately i noticed before it was too late, but my dad didn't and it sprayed him in the face. All the years we've pranked, laughed, and  double crossed each other i haven't been able to pull off a good one. Next year, I plan to unplug the router just barely so it will look plugged in, but doesn't power the router. My expectations for myself are high as well as their reactions. Hopefully my parents don't see this.

A dog was laying on the floor of his owner's home as he noticed a cake on the table. Curiously, he jumped from the chair to the table. His mouth drooled as he took a large bite from the cake. Within seconds it was gone. His human was infuriated when he saw the cake was gone. All of a sudden a mouse scurried across the floor. The dog chased it until it suddenly stopped. A candy used to decorate the cake lay on the floor. The candy was gone as soon as the mouse got a hold of it. The dog and mouse then put their differences aside and ate more cake together. The End.

Veterans have put their lives at risk so we can sleep at night knowing we’re safe. They must leave our country and fight for our freedom. Not only do they risk their lives but might have to take another person’s life. Therefore, we should honor veterans every day, and not just veteran's day. Many veterans also face poverty due to one or more of several reasons. The number is only rising as more veterans return. Over half of homeless veterans have been diagnosed with mental disorders. Veterans should be honored every day for the struggles they went through during service, and upon returning home for many. Greg Blackburn, a veteran of the Vietnam war, told my class and I, “when you are in the service, it is for one reason: so, mother, father, brother and sister can sleep at night.” What he was saying made me think about how selfless veterans are.  i took these pictures because they show how great nature can look in a town. The third image(the one of the sky) reminds me of when i was even younger as it looks similar to a popular image at the time. The image on the top makes me think of something crisp, cool, almost refreshing. It just makes me feel chilly looking at it. The bottom right one is simply beautiful, the way the golds and greens come together as summer becomes fall gives me a relaxed feeling.

We have been working with run-on sentences, and different ways to avoid writing them. Our teacher asked us to create three different memes, each containing a sentence that shows a different way to avoid run-ons. Each meme's sentence must connect to the meme.
